LONDON - Retail giant Tesco will back this year’s RITE Group conference on sustainable textiles in London as the UK not-for-profit organisation starts to move up another gear.
RITE Group chairman Phil Patterson commented, "We are very pleased that Tesco is supporting RITE's ongoing efforts to reduce the impact of textiles on the environment. RITE also recognises that brands such as Tesco have no obligation to spend their money on external initiatives and it is honoured that Tesco has identifed RITE as being relevant to the needs of today's sustainable textile industry."
